About the role
We’re looking for a Distribution Manager to expand and optimise our tours, activities, and tickets product distribution. In this role, you’ll work across OTAs, resellers, and third-party sales channels to drive revenue and grow our distribution network.
Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), you’ll manage existing partnerships, find new supply sources, and oversee API connectivity. Your mix of commercial expertise and operational know-how will be key to success in this role.
This is a remote position, with a preference for candidates based in the EU time zone, helping us better support our global team and clients.
Key responsibilities
Partnership and supply expansion
- Identify and onboard new supply sources for tours, activities, and experiences.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with OTAs, resellers, and third-party platforms.
- Pitch our platform to potential partners, negotiating terms, commission models, and agreements.
- Optimise existing partnerships to ensure sustained revenue growth.
Revenue growth and sales channel optimisation
- Expand and manage our distribution network, integrating new sales channels.
- Monitor sales performance, ensuring strategies align with revenue targets.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and regional teams to tailor strategies for specific markets.
Contract and administrative support for the CRO
- Assist the CRO with contract management, negotiations, and compliance oversight.
- Maintain accurate contract records and partner data in HubSpot CRM (or similar).
- Provide administrative support, including reports, presentations, and data insights.
What we are looking for
Industry and commercial expertise
- At least 3 years of experience in distribution or channel management within the tours, activities, travel, or ticketing industries.
- Established relationships with OTAs, resellers, and industry partners, using them to drive growth.
- Experience negotiating terms, commission structures, and product integrations.
- A solid understanding of API connectivity and OTA distribution strategies.
Personal attributes and soft skills
- Extroverted, proactive, and commercially-minded, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Skilled negotiator, able to close deals and create win-win agreements.
- Organised, with the ability to multitask and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
Technical and administrative skills
- Experience with HubSpot CRM (or similar) for managing partner data and sales pipelines.
- Familiarity with contract management and business development.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Google Sheets, AI platforms) to track performance.
Languages
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Italian is a plus.
