The role
As VP of Sales, you’ll lead and grow a team of sales professionals (SDRs and Account Executives), driving revenue and exceeding ambitious targets. You’ll balance strategic leadership with hands-on sales execution, inspiring a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement. You’ll take ownership of your sales targets while ensuring your team delivers exceptional results.

Key responsibilities
- Sales leadership and team management:
- Team leadership and communication: Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of 5-15 sales professionals to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets while aligning with company goals.
- Performance management: To ensure high achievement levels, set individual and team KPIs, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
- Coaching and development: Mentor your team, implement personalised growth plans, and support their personal and professional development.
- Recruitment and onboarding: Attract and hire top talent, ensuring cultural alignment and comprehensive onboarding for new hires.
- Training and skill-building: Create and deliver training programmes, including product knowledge, sales techniques, and CRM best practices.
- Lead by example: Take ownership of your sales targets and demonstrate best practices, setting the standard for your team.
Sales strategy and execution:
- Sales planning and forecasting: Develop and execute an international sales strategy aligned with company revenue goals.
- Pipeline management: Monitor team pipelines, ensure accurate forecasts, and optimise sales cycles.
- Strategic account management: Cultivate high-value accounts, positioning Palisis as a trusted partner.
- Process optimisation: Refine sales processes to improve efficiency and productivity across the team.
Collaboration and client engagement:
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align messaging and address client needs.
- Client engagement: Participate in key sales calls, meetings, and presentations for large or complex deals.
Performance metrics and reporting:
- KPIs & reporting: Track and report on team performance, using metrics to drive improvements.
- Incentive programmes: Design performance-based incentives to motivate and reward top performers.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 5-10 years in sales, with 3+ years in a leadership role in B2B sales (SaaS, tech, travel, tourism, or similar).
- A proven track record of exceeding targets and driving revenue growth.
- Experience managing large accounts or complex sales processes.
Skills:
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales acumen with expertise in pipeline management, forecasting, and closing deals.
- Proficiency in CRM tools like HubSpot and sales analytics platforms.
- Strategic mindset combined with hands-on sales capabilities.
